Qingdao is the biggest! EVE Energy Storage & Hisense Group's 25.8MWh distributed energy storage operation project was officially launched

On May 23, 2023, the Qingdao Hisense 25.8MWh distributed energy storage operation project cooperated by Wuhan EVE Energy Storage Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as EVE Energy Storage) and Hisense Group was officially opened, which is the largest user-side energy storage power station in the local area, which will provide great help to Hisense Group in energy conservation and cost reduction.

The total scale of the project is 25.8MWh, invested and constructed by Wuhan EVE Energy Storage Co., Ltd., and the project is scattered in 4 parks of Qingdao Hisense Group, namely: Hisense Refrigerator Co., Ltd. 8.6MWh, Hisense Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. 4.3MWh, Hisense Vision Technology Co., Ltd. 10.75MWh, Qingdao Hisense Mould Co., Ltd. 2.15MWh. The project has functional values such as power peak shaving, peak shaving and valley filling, demand-side response, and demand management, and will play an active role in power guarantee and new energy consumption while effectively improving the flexibility of power grid operation.

Zeng Ling, director of operation of EVE energy storage power station, said that the completion of this project has greatly enriched the scenario cases of large-scale user-side energy storage power station in Qingdao, EVE with the help of contract energy management model, to help enterprises save energy and reduce costs, improve enterprise load peak shaving capacity, and actively explore to participate in the power market-oriented application space, the current power station commercial operation value space is further highlighted, EVE will continue to explore cooperation with users, for regional energy transformation, enterprise energy conservation and fee reduction to contribute their own strength.
