Sino-Portuguese Green Shipping Seminar, EVE Energy Storage First Research Institute looks forward to the new future of green shipping

On May 4, a green shipping seminar jointly organized by China Classification Society (CCS) and the Portuguese Directorate-General for Natural Resources and Maritime Security, the Portuguese maritime authority, was successfully held in Lisbon. As the only battery manufacturer invited to speak at this seminar, EVE Energy Storage is deeply honored. At the meeting, Dr. Yi Haohao, Director of the First Institute of Energy Storage, delivered a special report on "Electrical Ships: Technology and Application" to discuss the new future of green shipping.

In the special report, Dr. Yi Haohao mentioned that under the background of the dual carbon goal, the development of zero-emission ship power systems has gradually become an industry consensus. Subsequently, she made an in-depth elaboration on the advantages, safety performance, and application cases of lithium batteries in marine power applications. Finally, EVE suggested strengthening international cooperation in the field of ship electrification and further improving standards and regulations. Continuously explore new business models to accelerate the process of green shipping.

In the discussion session, EVE representatives had in-depth exchanges and discussions with representatives on how to break through the cruising range of batteries and next-generation battery technology, and unanimously called for sincere cooperation to overcome problems and win the future.

As the first batch of lithium-ion battery manufacturers to enter the marine field in China, EVE's products from battery cells to battery packs to battery system levels have obtained CCS, DNV, ABS and other classification society certificates, from small cruise ships, cargo ships, offshore breeding platforms, to large ocean-going hybrid ships, batteries have covered most application scenarios. The box-type power supply that was first launched in the industry has also become the trump card product of the ship power sector. The upcoming second-generation product will further improve energy density and safety.
