On November 21, the 8th Alumni Luojia Forum was held as scheduled in the History Museum of Wuhan University, an early gift for the upcoming 128th anniversary of Wuhan University. Liu Jincheng, chairman of EVE, attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech, and donated $3.12 million to Wuhan University for the Excellent Development Fund of Wuhan University.
On September 26th, "UESTC -EVE Education Development Fund Donation Signing ceremony" was held in Qingshuihe Campus. EVE’s Education Fund totaled 20 million yuan ($3.09 million), which will be used to support UESTC and the construction of the School of Materials and Energy.
On July 24, EVE immediately set up an emergency communication support team composed of senior technical personnel to go to Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
On December 25th, 2020, EVE donated to establish the "Chuan-sin Cha Chair Professor Fund” and the "EVE Chair Professor Fund". The establishment of "Chuan-Sin Cha Chair Professor Fund” aims to carry forward the academic achievements and academic spirit of Professor Zha and to support the construction and development of the Electrochemistry discipline of Wuhan University, cultivate high-level leading talents in the discipline and provide financial support for the construction of top talents in the discipline of chemistry. The fund of "EVE Chair Professor" is established to provide financial support for the construction of top talents in the research of electrochemical lithium batteries, allowing EVE to maintain an advanced level on lithium battery technology in the world.
Recently, EVE Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (EVE Special Vehicle) has supported China Mobile, China Unicom and China Tower of Zhangjiakou city to provide green emergency power guarantee for communication base stations in the competition zone. At present, 13 green silent generator cars and 250 sets of portable power generators have been arranged in Zhangjiakou competition zone and there have been 3 generator cars equipped with EVE’s battery system on standby in Beijing competition zone.
In 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak came suddenly. Dr. Liu Jincheng, chairman of EVE, led EVE and its subsidiaries to assist in the prevention and control of the epidemic. EVE’s new energy power generation vehicle guaranteed electricity supply for the Huoshenshan Hospital. EVE delivered the first batch of infrared thermometer batteries in only 4 days. In addition, Dr. Liu Jincheng personally donated RMB 500,000 to the Red Cross Society of Duodao District, Jingmen City. EVE and its subsidiaries cumulatively donated 16,000 medical masks, 2,000 N95 masks, 8,414 KF94 masks, 0.8 tons of 75% alcohol, 32 barrels of 84 disinfectant and 67 forehead thermometers to the Red Cross Society of Duodao District, Zhongxin Huizhou Hospital, Huizhou Red Cross Society and Huizhou Bus General Company.
On November 5, 2015, at the American F1 Racers Tournament, EVE provided funding to support the Chinese teenagers to win the runner-up.
Taking public welfare as its own responsibility, EVE ensures the safe operation of Zhongkai's free shuttle bus. On December 4th, 2013, EVCENS launched three free shuttle buses to Zhongkai High-tech Zone. On the one hand, it solves the traffic problem of blind spots covered by buses, and is convenient for people to travel. On the other hand, it helps to promote the low-carbon and environmental friendly travel mode.
