From March 11 to 13, the 2024 14th China International Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition (CIES), sponsored by EVE Energy Co., Ltd., was grandly held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. At its booth for this year’s CIES, EVE Energy Storage Co., Ltd. showcased the Mr flagship series of EVE Energy—"Mr.Big" and "Mr.Giant", as well as a series of solutions, including Grid ESS, Household ESS, Telecom ESS, and BMS. EVE Energy Storage was awarded the "Most Influential Enterprise in China’s Energy Storage Industry in 2024", while its president Steven Chen was honored as the "Important Contributor to China’s Energy Storage Industry in 2024".

Relying on Technology and Quality to Accelerate the Development of Large-scale Energy Storage

At the opening ceremony of the CIES, Steven Chen, President of EVE Energy Storage, delivered a speech themed "Technology and Quality: Two Engines for Accelerating the Development of Large-scale Energy Storage". He stated, "Currently, the cost of the industry chain is bottoming out and a number of policies are introduced to promote the development of the energy storage industry, leading to effective improvements in the energy storage application environment. During the reshuffling period of the energy storage industry, the market will place greater emphasis on the actual value of energy storage. However, the cost diversion mechanism based on usage value remains unclear and energy storage application scenarios are becoming more complex. These factors are posing increasing challenges to safety and cost management, as well as the building of a global ecosystem and environment for energy storage. Targeting the industry’s pain points, EVE will continue to explore the business scenarios of large-scale energy storage, offer a more comprehensive product portfolio, and ceaselessly innovate its energy storage technology. It will strive to create EVE Energy’s new productive forces, build an open cooperation platform, and serve the global energy storage market."

Redefining ESS with Mr Flagship Series

Getting insights into the trend of large-scale development in advance, EVE has upheld the spirit of scientists and adopted the theoretical design of electrochemical technology to develop its revolutionary products—Mr.Big and Mr.Giant flagship series. During the CIES, EVE hosted a launch event of the Mr flagship series themed "Reliable Energy Storage with Eve’s Big Batteries". According to Liu Shilei, Senior Manager of EVE Energy Storage’s Solution Center, "The Mr flagship series have redefined ESS (energy storage system) in an untraditional way. Using the innovative current collection technology and 3T technology, these two series are more efficient, simpler, and safer. They serve as useful tools for humans to restore the Earth. The Mr flagship series will be globally mass-produced in the fourth quarter of this year, at which point we will be able to witness the reliable power of EVE’s large batteries."

Promoting Product Safety and Safeguarding the Bottom Line of Safety

Energy storage batteries are the key equipment for energy storage and conversion and their safety is of vital significance. Tian Cong, Product Manager of EVE Energy Storage’s Solution Center, delivered a technical lecture titled "Key Factors Ensuring the Safety of Energy Storage Products". He said, "Ensuring the safety of energy storage products requires us to pay attention to fire safety and comprehensively consider intrinsic safety, active safety, and passive safety. To enhance product safety, EVE has taken a series of safety measures in aspects such as product design, management, certification, and manufacturing." These measures demonstrate EVE’s professional expertise in ensuring the safety of energy storage products and inject new vitality into promoting the healthy and safe development of the energy storage industry.

Deepening Strategic Cooperation for a Green Future

During the CIES, EVE signed strategic cooperation agreements with Hangzhou Changhao New Energy Industry Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Ai-BESS Technology Co., Ltd., and iPotisEdge. EVE will launch in-depth cooperation with Changhao New Energy and iPotisEdge in the fields of Grid ESS and Commercial and industrial ESS. Specifically, the production capacity of its cooperation project with Changhao New Energy will reach 1 GWh. Regarding the collaboration with Ai-BESS, EVE has expressed that both parties will dedicate themselves to the development of technologies, products, services, and overall solutions related to energy storage, such as overseas microgrid projects and grid-side energy storage plants. They will jointly build a green future.
