On February 1, EVE Lithium Energy District 6, 7, 7, 8 and 9 Districts 73GWh Plant put into operation and the groundbreaking ceremony of "60GWh Super Factory" was successfully held in Jingmen. Hu Yabo, Secretary of Jingmen Municipal Party Committee, Chen Jiawei, Deputy Secretary of Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Jingmen, Dr. Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE Lithium Energy, Liu Jianhua, President of EVE Lithium Energy and other company executives, as well as enterprise representatives and media representatives witnessed together. The ceremony was presided over by Liang Zaoyang, member of the Standing Committee of the Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Ding Ding, Chief Technology Officer of EVE Lithium Iron Battery, introduced that EVE Lithium Energy has deeply cultivated the innovation of fast charging technology, and the lithium iron phosphate battery technology has been accumulated since 2015, and has developed to the third generation of high specific energy technology platform, taking the lead in the industry to realize the integration and application of 800V system, and in the future, it will continue to launch new ultra-fast charging products in the field of reducing the total cost of the whole society, build a rapid energy replenishment system, and provide consumers with a low-carbon and efficient travel experience.

At the event, EVE's 60GWh super factory project also announced the official start of construction. Wei Na, General Manager of EVE Lithium Energy Factory Planning Department, showed the guests the innovative highlights of the Gigafactory, which significantly improved capacity efficiency and reduced production costs through integrated and digital intelligent design. After the completion of the super factory, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 60GWh, and the mass production product is EVE Lithium Energy's new generation of energy storage battery LF560K, and its supporting energy storage power station operating costs can be lower than pumped storage power station, meeting the large-scale and high-economic needs of the energy storage market, which is another powerful measure for EVE to help the global energy transformation.

Dr. Liu Jincheng, Chairman of the Board, delivered a speech, saying that the completion and commissioning of EVE Lithium Energy Zones 6, 7, 8 and 9 has given the company sufficient delivery capacity in all product directions in the new energy industry chain. In this context, EVE can focus on the future development direction of power energy storage battery technology, and plan to build a more advanced and intelligent super factory that can represent the world's highest production level. In the future, on the new energy track, it will continue to iteratively upgrade and improve efficiency.

He mentioned that EVE Lithium Energy Super Factory will also closely cooperate with industrial chain enterprises, strengthen cooperation, improve industrial cluster effect, and continue to reduce logistics, production and operating costs.

Subsequently, Dr. Liu Jincheng awarded licenses to the factories that were completed and put into operation, and EVE Power's Vice Presidents Liang Rongbin, Dr. Bai Chengdong, Dr. Gong Genfei and Xu Bo took the stage to receive the plaques and delivered speeches respectively.

On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, Mayor Chen Jiawei warmly congratulated EVE on the commissioning of EVE's factories in Districts 6, 7, 8 and 9 and the start of construction of the super factory. He said in his speech that since EVE settled in Jingmen in 2012, high-density investment and high-frequency expansion have driven a large number of leading enterprises in the industrial chain to settle in Jingmen, and built the largest power battery full-life cycle industrial cluster in central China. Today's start of the "60GWh Super Factory" is a key step for Jingmen Power Energy Storage Battery production capacity to exceed 200GWh, and will surely provide strong support for the output value of Jingmen new energy and new materials industry to enter the 200 billion mark.
